At ellisisland.org I found my great-grandfather Garabed (although it looks like he's spelled Garabet, here), along with his wife, Alice, and my grandfather, Philip (written as Fillip) and his sister Helen (spelled Hilen) . "Apparently they had morons writing down the names," says Dad.

I haven't managed to view the actual passenger record, which, the site claims, is just on the other side of a registration dialog. Fun for after work, I guess. #
